One of the realities of living in any urban area is graffiti. This has been true for thousands of years, unfortunately. And therefore one of the very useful free services that we offer to all merchants, businesses, and property owners in the Lower Polk Community Business District is graffiti removal and abatement. To access this service, simply download a PDF copy of our graffiti removal form, sign it, and then email, fax, mail, or hand-deliver it to our office. Most graffiti removal will be done the same day we get the form.
We work with numerous talented mural artists to bring a bit of flair and style to visually bland alleyways and walls. Not only do the murals they create add a bit of art to our “daily mix,” but these murals also help discourage graffiti and encourage foot traffic. This service is completely free to property owners or designated representatives of property owners. If you have ever wanted your outside walls to look really cool, contact us and we will work with our artists to come up with a design that we are sure you will love. To get started, simply fill out this mural release and consent form and schedule a meeting with our Director, who may be contacted at director@lowerpolkcbd.org, or at 415.775.1180.
